The Color Red

I think Red has quite a lot of response, whether it is non or a lot they both speak volumes.  Red is a very strong color.  Has power behind it.  Where as you add a little white and you have pink and its light and airy and feminine.  I love to paint in red but it doesn't fit in most peoples homes.  Maybe
offices but not the home.  So I'm going to hang this for the time being in my home until I find a gallery that has a strong clients.   Interesting things that color does... would love to hear your opinions

Getting ready for Thanksgiving and knowing that all this food drama is not what the pilgrims did.
So this year I'm scaling back greatly.  Turkey breast, stuffing, a veggie and homemade cranberries
sauce.  One pie and bam  I will hopefully have no food comma.

My son did make homemade cinnamon rolls. Oh my they look divine.  So I'm posting a two fer.
The smallest I have done and never again.

Its Monday and very cold for the south.  44 degrees.  Yikes no flip flops today and jeans.  Nice for a change.  Bad for painting though as it just doesn't want to dry.  Almost done with my 12 x 12's

Most would think what am I doing.  I'm painting other pieces.  One that I have been struggling with for a month and it finally came together.  In the old days of more wealth I could just throw it away, but now with the technique and the medium I just keep working at it, looking at it and trying to find

something to say with it.  So finally yesterday as I was working on a 24 x 24 I looked over at it and

thought OMG today it will finish itself, and it did.  You will all see it next week...... ENJOY!!!!
