As a child there is no greater anticipation than Christmas day. We are dazzled by gifts and lights and
festivities. I just love the Christmas music. All so uplifting.
Now as an adult I miss that wonder that Christmas offered and now have filled it with art. I can enjoy art 365 days a year and never tire of seeing it, talking about it and most of all being able to
go to the easel and do it.
I watch Brian Rutenbergs' videos on youtube and they are a constant source of inspiration and really
an artist to look up to. I hope you take the time to see some of his videos if you are an artist to be inspired. His best advise is he goes to the studio to paint, somedays good somedays not so good but
always going there and showing up to do the work. That is the gift I open every day like Christmas
is the ability to go to the studio and do the work.
Not much will go on here til the first. I did go to a gallery show that I am in and was surprised by
several sales and I will be posting what sold and what's new.
