Sometimes you are just on top of the game.  I make no apologies for the lack luster of posts as I have been busy painting.  But I promise to share more and more art.  Til you just have to have one.

He Asked me to Dance  26 x 24

Love certainly is always the last painting you have done.  There are so many
elements going on in this painting and I truly felt like I was dancing across this
painting.

After being a landscape painter for so long then doing a season of the florals I began
to like the names that brought out the emotions I felt when I painted the piece.  I feel
that this is so for my abstracts.  It may seem like I have bounced around but really I
was on a mission with my art.  Coming from school when traditional art was the strong
suit to take and especially the figure and of course not being a conformist I so wanted
to do abstracts.  Teachers were horrified.   What a hoot but I did not give up.  Eventually
everything cycles back around and an artist has the opportunity to shine.  So now I can
say I've done most all of it.  Advertising, illustration, figural work to landscapes to
still life and ahhhhhhhhhhh I have  landed at my original destination.  I enjoy this to no
end.   It is my great pleasure to share this with you.

So the sun came out today and I reshot  "I Tried to Call"

I also as an artist and a women had a change of mind on the small paintings for sale.
My conversations are just not any smaller than 14 x 14.  I like to talk alot.  Its a disappointment I
know but now you will hear the whole story and not just a snippet.  I never buy or listen to novellas
just for this reason.  Not enough meat to chew on.   How did I get to meat.  Oh Lord.

so behind...............

I am so behind on posts.  I don't rightly know where to start so I'll give you the most recent painting.

I Tried Calling  20 x 16 coldwax/oil on cradled panel.

So much to say and can't figure out where to start.  Hmmm good thing I'm not a writer by trade.

I have gone absolutely down the path of loving cold wax.  Still finding my groove  but I think

I'm about there.    I will continue to post more and I have some very small abstracts to offer for sale.
