Today it is mundane human chores.   Finishing up for a preview from the Gallery.  Must back some cookies.  LOL.  Struggling on a painting.  It does not want to be green.  So I just got tired of it and slapped some cobalt blue on it and I can see the painting is correct.  Seems to be heading in the right
direction.  Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today's piece gets a word.  I don't use earthy colors but..... I have fallen in love with RGH Paints and
I thought why not.  So I got Cad Red Lt.  So you will see about 5 paintings that have that happily running through it and its really a nice add.   Oh and if you start humming that song by Frank Sinatra that is the reason for this name on this piece.   ENJOY!!!!!!

So yesterday was a sad day.  David Bowie passed away.  I'm of this generation and it saddens me to see my contemporaries pass away.  So today's piece is named with this all in mind.  Enjoy your days
Each one is a gift not to be wasted.

Here is today's post.  It's hard to post a little older painting like 2 months old when the one I'm working on is like taking 15 coats of paint so far and all week long and is not even remotely looking like something I like.  GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Dreaming of Dreams forgotten

Since this is my page i'll elaborate. Dont know how many of you wake up and the dream you had is at the tip of your memory and it spoke to you but as the minutes slip away you start to forget it and you don't want to. This was how I painted this. Dreams sometimes just slip away but for some of us we have to hold on to them for as long as we can.

30 x 30  All for Love
CT CUMMINS an award winning Abstract Artist of great expression is the first featured artist for this New Year of 2016 . This featured painting is titled "All For Love," and is 30 x 30 in size.. (We need that love in 2016.)
She was born in Rochester, NY in 1952 and received her education from Otis Parsons School of Design.
Her work touches the soul. This artists technique is unusual in style. Her technique pulls the viewer in to the experiences of her life. That is what the expression of art is all about, and she interprets those experiences in a compelling visual execution.
She speaks her own language with her art...and it is a beautiful sensitive language, easily understood without barriers..
Even her paintings have titles with tremendous meaning. Each title goes well with the expression of each of her artworks. Her artwork opens your mind to the sensitivity of life.
She tells us, viewers of her work...."Abstract Art is my visual interpretation of my reality. No road map exists but trusting on my feelings and intuition I arrive at my own language. I am striving for the conversation to be unique and speak to the viewer. My technique is cold wax and oil on cradled board. This approach gives a particular luster and luminescence to the work that I believe is unique to this medium."
